He started his career on June 1st, 2023 and has so far built one of the world’s most impressive portfolios, the legendary “D.A.M.P.,” in less than 300 days. His value he puts on himself is so intrinsic, his life goal is to simply wake up each day, and create something that was not here yesterday. With that mentality, he’s now in such a unique position, as one of fashion’s true renaissance men. You give this kid a task, he’ll know how to do it. This is due to his assortment of talents he has honed to be such an independent force in the world of fashion.

Raised on videogames and palm trees, the vibrant colors, collages, and ASCII digital art in his work are his signature to blending the virtual world with our real world. So often fashion limits itself to depressing and dark colors, but dAN took great inspiration from other Miami legends, Gianni Versace and Romero Britto, to bring joyous colors out in his work.

His signature ‘typo-spelling’ came from when he accidentally activated “Caps Lock” on his early projects, going from “Dan Abarca” to “dAN aBARCA.” He realized no one in history had ever written their name like that, (swapping lowercases with uppercases and vice-versa) so he adapted the unique spelling to further his identity as “tHE aNOMALY.”

He imagined an alien race discovering humanity’s ruins millennia from now, and seeing a lone database list of everyone who ever existed. Yet for some reason unbeknown to them, “dAN aBARCA” is the only name in history that’s spelled like that. “What made him so special?” is what they’ll wonder, while everyone alive today will know.
